Automations
Request reviews automatically so you never have to remember.
An automation sends a review request on its own when something happens — a new customer is added, a job is logged, or an outside app pings Qudo. Set it once and it runs forever.
Anatomy of an automation
Each automation has four parts:
- Trigger — what starts it: a contact being added, a visit logged, or a Zapier webhook from another app.
- Channel — text, email, or text-then-email if there's no phone number.
- Delay — how long to wait after the trigger. A couple of hours is a good default: long enough that the customer has left, soon enough that it's fresh.
- Message — the template to send.
A good starting setup
Turn on one automation: new contact → wait 2 hours → send text. Then just make sure new customers land in Qudo (by CSV, by hand, or through an integration) and reviews take care of themselves.
Opt-outs are always respected
Automations skip anyone who has opted out or is missing the channel they'd need. You never have to manage that by hand.
Pausing
Toggle any automation off with the switch on the Automations screen. It stops immediately; turning it back on resumes with the same settings.
