Online reputation score
An AI-researched 0-100 score for how your business looks across the web, with concrete ways to improve it.
Your star rating only tells part of the story. The Online reputation card on your dashboard uses AI to research your business across the web — news mentions, social sentiment, other listing sites, beyond what Qudo already tracks — and turns it into a single 0-100 score, a short summary, specific strengths, and specific improvements.
Running a scan
Click Scan now on the Online reputation card. It takes a few seconds — Qudo is genuinely searching the web, not just reading your existing reviews. Once it's done you'll see:
- Score (0-100) — 90+ is an outstanding, widely-praised reputation with no notable complaints; below 40 means real, visible problems worth addressing.
- Summary — a two-to-three sentence overview.
- Strengths — what's genuinely working, so you know what to keep doing.
- Improvements — specific, actionable things to fix.
- Sources — the pages the scan actually found and used, so you can see where the score came from.
Each scan is saved, so the card also charts your score over time as you re-scan.
Re-scans are rate-limited
You can re-scan roughly every 12 hours. This isn't arbitrary — live web research is slower and more resource-intensive than a normal AI request, so scanning is meant for "check in periodically," not every page load.
Setup
This feature needs a GOOGLE_AI_API_KEY configured on the server, with Google Search grounding enabled for that key (this is billed/limited separately from the API key's normal usage, which also powers AI-drafted replies). If it's not configured, the card explains what's missing instead of the scan button. If a scan fails with a quota message, the grounding quota for that key is temporarily exhausted — try again later, or check billing at ai.google.dev.
