Invite your team and choose team roles
Bring teammates into a business workspace by email or with an invite link, and decide what each of them can do.

Your team are the people who sign in and help run the workspace. Teammates are included in every business workspace — one price for the whole workspace, not per person. The people you serve — customers, members, guests — are card holders: they don't run anything, but can sign in with an email code to see their cards in wallet.
Invite by email
Open Members
In a business workspace, open Members and tap Add member.
Pick a team role
Under Team — signs in and helps run it, choose Admin, Staff or one of your own roles.
Send the invitation
Type their email and tap Send invitation. They get an email with a link to join — they confirm with a one-time code, no password to set up. Until they do, they show in Members as invited.
Share an invite link
Perfect for a committee, a volunteer crew or a whole staff room. In Members, tap Invite link, pick the role people join with and tap Create link. Send it on WhatsApp, email or Slack — anyone who opens it signs in (or creates a free account) and joins with that role. Revoke it any time.
Team roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing. |
| Admin | Everything except billing. |
| Staff | Makes and edits their own cards. |
Create your own team roles
Go to Settings → Roles. Under Team roles, tap New role, give it a name — Treasurer, Steward, Volunteer lead, Coach — and tick what it can do:
- make their own cards
- manage every card
- issue cards and passes (membership cards, badges, tickets, claim links, giving cards to members)
- edit the organisation profile
- invite people
- manage people and roles
- manage the plan and billing
Change a teammate's role right in the Members list, or remove them. Business cards belong to the workspace, so they stay when someone leaves.
Still stuck? Ask a person.
Email us and someone from the team replies — usually within one working day.
