Members and roles — who gets which card
Keep everyone in one list, give each person a role, and let the role decide which cards they get.

Members is everyone connected to your business workspace, in one list:
- Your team — people who sign in and help run it (Owner, Admin, Staff and your own team roles). See Invite your team.
- Card holders — customers, members, guests, volunteers. You give them cards; they can see them all in wallet by signing in with an email code.
Add people
Open Members
In a business workspace, open the Members tab and tap Add member.
Choose their role
Pick a card-holder role like Customers or Members — the dialog tells you which cards that role can get, and which it gets automatically. You can also give them a card straight away.
Or import a list
Tap Import and paste from a spreadsheet: one person per line, as
name, email, phone, role. Someone with the same email is updated, never duplicated.
Card-holder roles
Roles live in Settings → Roles. Each card-holder role has:
- Cards they can get — e.g. Guests can get event tickets, Members membership cards and tickets, Volunteers badges. Leave it open to allow any card.
- Give automatically — cards everyone in the role gets, including people added later. Make Customers get your loyalty card, and every new customer has one the moment you add them.
Starter roles are set up for you based on what kind of organisation you are. Rename them, change them or add your own — Gold members, Season-ticket holders, Students.
Give someone a card
- From Members: tap Give a card next to a person, or tick several (or filter by a role and tick them all) and use Give a card in the bar at the bottom. Only the cards their role allows are offered.
- From the card itself: in the card editor, Who gets this card lets you pick roles and people. Everyone chosen gets their own copy when you save — and you can make it automatic for anyone added to those roles later.
Each person gets their own copy with their name on it and the next number, like M-00042. Need a different seat, level or expiry for each person? Choose Customise each card — see Issue cards to many people. People who join with a join link or QR code are added to Members automatically, under the role you chose. Select people and tap Email cards to send each of them their cards and a link to their wallet.

Every card type has its own kind of link, so people can tell at a glance what they were sent:

Older qudo.ink/c/… links keep working for every card.
Revoke a card or remove someone
Tap the pencil next to a card holder. Under Their cards, tap the bin next to a card to revoke it — its link and QR code stop working. Remove takes them off the list; you choose whether their cards stay live.
Who can do this
Everyone in the workspace can see Members. Adding card holders and giving cards needs a team role that can issue cards (owners and admins can). Inviting teammates needs a role that can invite people.
