Scan customers' cards
Check people in, admit tickets, add loyalty stamps and redeem coupons by scanning their card.

In an active business workspace, your team can scan the QR code on a customer's card — on their phone, in Apple or Google Wallet, or printed. The card updates straight away: a stamp appears on their loyalty card, a ticket shows as used, a coupon can't be redeemed twice.
Two ways to scan
With the Scan page
Open Scan in the menu (on a phone it's in the tab bar) and tap Start camera. Point it at the QR code. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works too: click the box and scan. You can also type the number printed under the code.
With your phone's camera
Point your phone's normal camera at the code and open the link. Because you're signed in to the business, you see a Staff only panel on the card with the same buttons. Customers never see it.
What each card offers
| Card | What you see | What you can do |
|---|---|---|
| Membership card, ID badge | Valid or expired, level or department | Check in (as often as needed) |
| Event ticket, travel pass | Valid, or Already used with the time and who scanned it | Admit or Board — once |
| Loyalty card | Stamps so far and the reward | Add a stamp; when it's full, Give reward and the stamps start again |
| Coupon | Valid, expired or Already redeemed | Redeem — once |
Paused, cancelled and expired cards show in red with nothing to press.
Who can scan
Owners, admins and staff can scan. For a custom role, tick Scan customers' cards in Settings → Roles. A card from another business never opens in your scanner.
See what happened
The Scan page lists the latest scans with who scanned and when. Ask the assistant "How busy were we this week?" for totals by day. Developers can get every scan as a card.scanned webhook.
Still stuck? Ask a person.
